Who’s Eligible:
Full-time associates, actively working 30 or more hours per week.
When Can I Enroll:
You MUST enroll within 30 days from your date of hire, status change or qualifying life event. If you do not enroll within the timeframe, you will not have benefits coverage, except for plans that are fully paid for by Silverado.
Once you enroll, your benefits will remain in effect until the end of the plan year. You will not be able to make changes to your benefits until the next open enrollment period unless you experience a qualified life event such as marriage, divorce, birth, adoption.
Is There a Waiting Period:
- Non-exempt hourly-paid associates (except nurses):
The first day of the month after 60 days of service, following a 30-day orientation period. - Exempt salaried associates and nurses:
The first day of the month after your start date. - Newly eligible associates (status changes) or qualifying events:
The first day of the month after event date if the above waiting periods have been met.
- Non-exempt hourly-paid associates (except nurses):
- Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Dependent Care FSA: Full-time associates
Health Care FSA: Full-time associates not enrolled in Cigna Consumer Choice or Cigna Bronze
